In ancient Indian mythology, Jatayu was a divine eagle who sacrificed everything in the pursuit of honour.

The name was chosen with intention. It speaks to everything this restaurant stands for: an uncompromising commitment to what is right, a deep respect for Indian heritage, and a refusal to take the easy path.

That spirit lives in every dish we serve.

The kitchen

A restaurant built on one simple idea.
No compromises.

The kitchen team at Jatayu are all Indian, each chef trained in India, with a minimum of fifteen years behind them. The spices arrive directly from India and are ground fresh in the kitchen each day. The tandoor, a clay oven rarely found outside the subcontinent, was imported specifically for this restaurant and is operated by a specialist.

No two dishes share a sauce. Everything is made from scratch, cooked to order, to recipes representing almost every state in India.

The music is Ibiza. The soul is India. Everything else is exactly as it should be.
